St. Patrick's Day Shamrocks

My grandson is still down with his really bad cold. He was running a fever of 102 degrees last night, so no school for him today. At least his croupy cough has gone away, which is a blessing!!
Since St. Patrick's day is just 18 days away, I thought I would share some shamrocks.
If you have any problem with the link, please leave a comment.
Everyone have an AWESOME day!

Doctor's appointment & Cute Buttons

Well, I just got back from the doctor that my dad has been seeing for a few years. He has taken care of my dad's sometimes cancerous skin lesions. I only had one spot that he was concerned about, the rest of what I needed him to look at were totally harmless. Not a biggie! Load off of my mind!! He removed the suspicious looking compound growth, and the rest he left alone and told me that if the one's he left got to be a bother, especially when I'm dressing, he would remove them.
I also got a very interesting history lesson dealing with skin, too! Most of the interesting skin stuff I have is all from my English, German, French, Nordic, Celtic, Irish, and Scottish ancestors. It's basically the pale skinned people who have this type of skin stuff. I learned a lot about the different cultures while I was at the doctor's office!! Very interesting and informative listening to this very interesting man!! I really didn't expect a history lesson of my ancestor's skin types when I went to the doctor, but it gave me more insight into why my skin is the way it is.
Here are some cute little buttons that I made a few days ago. There are round, oval and flower shaped buttons in this file. I'll make some other button shapes to share later.

If you have any problems with any of my links, please leave me a comment.

Sharing some papers

I hope everyone is doing well! I didn't get much sleep over the weekend because my grandson has a cold, which last night turned into the croup. Poor baby sounds like a St. Bernard when he coughs now. He and his mom were in the steamy bathroom last night, and I was sitting with him in the steamy bathroom this morning. We all live in the same huge house.....me and my hubby, both of our sons, our daughter-in-law and 3 grand kids. Definitely makes life interesting here!
Here are a few examples of some papers I did a few months ago that I have to share with you all.

The file says the papers are 900x900 but some of them are smaller.
Here is the link to 4Shared to download the papers. If you have any problems with the link, please leave me a note in the comments.

Where is Winter?

I know that the calendar says this is the winter season, but there's been not much body numbing cold or snow here in Illinois. But winter isn't over, and Mother Nature is in control as always.
Took a little break in the other stuff I'm doing today to share some more goodies I created for all of you to use in your digital scrap booking, tag or stat making. Here are a few examples of the frames in the file. Hope you can use them!

Good Morning

I'm in for a long creative day today! I am actually going to do some jewelry. It's going to be interesting to remember where I put most of my jewelry goodies. I just got finished putting most of them away on shelves and in drawers from the boxes they were in when I was in Oklahoma. My natural stone beads are in various jars and don't have "homes" on shelves yet, but I've been working on finding the jars a home. The other goodies (charms, jump rings, and other small stuff) are all in flat storage containers and are already on shelves. The creative river is flowing, so I'm going to go with the flow. I'll share pictures later.
I got creative a couple of weeks ago and made some tag templates I made for everyone to use. If they are similar to someone else's, it is not done intentionally.
Here is an example I did for an IncrediMail stat using this one:
Thank You Hallan Moulin for your image! You can see his art at: http://www.chiplegal.deviantart.com/ and you can find his FTU tubes at: www.thezonegroups.com/

Here is another IncrediMail stat I made using this one:
Thank You Dark Yarrow for creating the kit used in this one! You can find her PTU kits at: http://www.dreamscapeimaging.com/ You need a license from DSI to use her kits.
I give credit where credit is due. A HUGE Thank You to all of my favorite artists who create the art I use...and there are hundreds of them!! You are all AWESOME!!

I'm late

Sorry I'm late with posting. I took some time off for myself and went to visit with some friends over the weekend. My girlfriend and her son are AWESOME cooks! Had steak, potatoes, shrimp, and my friend's homemade cocktail sauce Sunday night, and a fridge cleaning buffet of goodies that she'd made earlier in the week. OMG!!! It was all very YUMMY!!
The cookin' at my house isn't bad either! The adults in my house are AWESOME cooks, too, and both of my granddaughters are getting their lessons in cooking and aren't bad in the cooking category either!
My dad's eye is looking very good. Tomorrow, he goes to the doctor and gets his stitches and the tape strips removed.
These are some goodies that I created a few years ago when I was in a creative mood and playing around with my Paint Shop Pro 9.There are 18 banisters, 27 bottle caps, 45 flowers and 36 splats in this file group. The pics are the whole collection of what's in the file.
Hope you can find a use for them.

It's Saturday!

Well, my dad's eyelid surgery went well. The growth was not cancerous like the doctor thought it might be. YEA!!
While I was at the hospital with my parents and my hubby, I went to the hospital's gift shop to get my dad some roses. They have a really nice gift shop there. I noticed that they had jewelry, and some of it was in a glass case with a lock. I asked the lady working there if they ever took local artists items to sell, and she directed me to another lady that runs the gift shop. Well, to make a long story short....I have one outlet for selling some of my jewelry, purses, toys, and other things I make. Awesome!! It's always good to ask.
I've made some more goodies for everyone for their scrapbooks, stats, and tags. There are 12 round cut out alphas, 1 page of stitches, and 2 pages of musical notes in this file.
Here are some examples of what's in this file:

Good Morning All

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day with your sweeties!
I got some awesome  ideas for some jewelry pieces yesterday afternoon from a movie my youngest son suggested on NetFlix. The movie is called "Rivers and Tides". WOW!! The artist  in the film, Andy Goldsworthy, is totally off the cuff with his art, and the multiple types of natural materials he uses in his art was mind boggling. I was running some of his art concepts through my mind yesterday afternoon trying to mentally figure out how to translate his art into jewelry pieces....and like him....in various materials.
I'm sharing some frames I made a while back with everyone today. Hope you like them and can use them. If you need to change the colors on any of my creations, that's cool!
Here are a couple of examples of the 8 frames in the file.

Here is the 4Shared link to download these!! Enjoy!!
As always, if you have a problem with a link, please tell me and I'll see if I can fix it.

More Goodies for my digital scrap book friends

I must have been sleeping or something with this batch. I found some typos on the banners on these, plus, "Accessories015" are messed up. The psp file was saved as a psp file, but with the background and you can't really get them separated cleanly with the freehand tool. That's my bad!! I'm hoping that that is the only file I did that to!!
So I do apologize for the one file in the rar file that I screwed up!

Enjoy!!

OMG!! What Have I Done!

I just created a blog!!
I'll be sharing my digital scrap book goodies and pictures of my jewelry, purses, toys and such that I'm going to be making for sale in local Bloomington/Normal, IL boutiques and shops as well as on line.
Here are some goodies for my digital scrap book friends.
This is just a few of the hearts in the .rar file:
